- valid hostnames (doesn't mean they have to exist)

- IPv6
- IPvFuture
The code snippet above puts a MAC address into the URL.
And the solution to that is: don't use the host part at all, but put the mac
address as first part of the path.

Yes, that's a good solution. I recommend that the Bluetooth developers=20
start immediately switching their URLs so that everyone's bookmarks don't=20
suddenly break in KDE 4.0.
